Tom Zilinsky: Class of 1961

Tom was a three-sport standout at Foxcroft Academy. On the gridiron, he was a punishing runner known for coming up big in the clutch. He converted many 2-point conversions in big games that carried the Ponies to victory. Following his junior year, he was selected as the team’s most valuable player. As a senior, he was the team’s captain and second-leading scorer.  On the hardwood,Tom was also a captain his senior year and totaled 189 points, good for third on a very deep team that included fellow Hall of Famer Skip Hanson. Tom was also an accomplished pitcher and outfielder on the baseball team.
