Peter Ingraham: Class of 1980

Peter was a four-year letter winner in football, basketball, and baseball.  He was captain of the basketball team during both his junior and senior years, and he captained the football and baseball teams as a senior. In football, Peter was an All-LTC quarterback as a junior and an All-LTC defensive back as a senior. He was selected as team MVP both his junior and senior season.  On the hardwood, Peter was the floor general from his point guard position and helped lead the Ponies to the Eastern Maine championship game as a junior.  He was the team MVP as a senior and still holds the school’s all-time assist record with 393. On the diamond, Peter pitched and played centerfield, and as a senior he led the Ponies to the Eastern Maine championship and was voted team MVP. Peter remarked to Ernie Clark of the Bangor Daily News that he placed a high value on sportsmanship throughout his playing days. After high school, Peter went on to graduate from Colby College.
