Kelly Dow Anderson: Class of 1997

Kelly Dow Anderson excelled in field hockey, basketball, and softball at FA. She was a four-year varsity player in all three and also captained each sport. In her senior basketball season, she became the first female Pony to surpass the 1,000 point plateau and remains the all-time leading girls’ scorer. She received First-Team All Penobscot Valley Conference accolades in all three of her sports, and in her senior year she made the All-State team in field hockey and was selected to play in the McDonald’s All-Star basketball game. She capped off her senior year by receiving the Lap Lary Award given to the female Athlete of the Year. Kelly went on to play basketball at Husson College and is currently an outstanding young educator.
