Kelly Keenan

Ms. Kelly Keenan, who resides and works in the technology sector in Silicon Valley, joined the Foxcroft Academy Board of Trustees on November 13, 2015. In addition to serving on the Superintending Committee, she is the treasurer of the Courtyard Sunnyvale Homeowner’s Association.

Ms. Keenan graduated from Foxcroft Academy in 1992 and went on to complete her B.S. in Computer Science with a minor in Psychology at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1995. She was previously the Director of Computing and Director of the Women in Science & Engineering program at Westover School in Middlebury, CT. She taught AP Computer Science there and at Emma Willard School in Troy, NY, while working on her M.S. in Computer Science at Rensselaer, which she received in 2005.

In her free time, Ms. Keenan tutors fifth graders in math and works closely with the National Center for Women and Information Technology where she chairs the ceremony committee for the Bay Area Aspirations in Computing Award for high school girls. She enjoys traveling, golfing, and other outdoor activities.
