John Simko

Mr. John Simko–who is the Director of Business Development for Pepin Associates, an aerospace materials company in Greenville, ME–was elected to the Foxcroft Academy Board of Trustees on August 6, 2010 and currently serves on the Board’s Building and Grounds Committee.

Mr. Simko graduated from Foxcroft Academy in 1988 and Bowdoin College in 1992. He married Amanda Graham in 2011 and has one daughter, Ashley, and two stepchildren, Brandon and Courtney Brackett of Abbot. His interests include mountain biking, mountain climbing, canoe racing, softball, and any time he can spend with his kids.

A former town manager of Greenville, Mr. Simko is still heavily involved in the community. He is a member of the Greenville Volunteer Fire Department, the Greenville Airport Advisory Committee, and the Abner-Wade Masonic Lodge (Sangerville). He’s also an Executive Committee Member (and former President) for the Piscataquis County Economic Development Council, an EMT-I for Charles A. Dean Hospital’s Ambulance Service, a Trustee at the Shaw Public Library, the Director of the Composites Technology Centers Corporation, and an Advisory Council Member for the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.
