Dover-Foxcroft – We are still in the midst of the 2018-19 school year, but we are rapidly approaching the summer season. With that in mind, we look to the future. On Wednesday, April 10th at 6pm, Foxcroft Academy will host the annual step-up night for eighth-grade families. Eighth grade students are invited and encouraged to attend along with their parent or guardian. The evening will focus on academic requirements and standards and will provide an opportunity for questions to be asked, school tours and more. This event will take place in the gymnasium. Light refreshments will be served.
On Thursday, April 11, Foxcroft Academy will host the annual step-up day for eighth-grade students. Over the course of step-up day, next years FA students will attend a Community Fair; here, current FA students will represent over 40 different clubs, activities and sports. Rising ninth graders will have an opportunity to learn about each extracurricular, how to get involved and the importance of belonging to an extracurricular. In addition, ninth graders will be scheduled for two live classroom observations, a school tour and they will take part in a school wide special assembly welcoming them to Foxcroft Academy. The event will conclude with lunch and students will be bussed back to SeDoMoCha. Students from other sending districts can be picked up at 12:15 or opt to stay for the afternoon and shadow an upperclassman.
