The Foxcroft Academy community suffered a significant loss this week as former Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds, Roger Davis, Class of 1952, passed away at 87.  Roger was indeed a Foxcroft Academy icon.  Because of the vision and passion of Roger Davis, Foxcroft Academy athletes had the privilege of playing on the finest fields in the state, and they continue to do so today.  Before Roger was a valued FA employee, he was a great high school athlete.  He wore the maroon and white for football, cross country, basketball, and baseball.  He was a star baseball player at the University of Maine, and a dedicated coach and mentor at FA.  One only needs to look around the Foxcroft Academy campus to see his enormous contribution to Pony athletics.  The entire FA community mourns with Roger’s wife Debbie and his family during this difficult time.  Rest easy, Roger. You truly left your mark on the institution you loved.
