Dear prospective students and families,

Established as a private secondary school on January 30, 1823, Foxcroft Academy has opened its doors to the world and become a true global community. We have welcomed students from Algeria, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Brazil, China, Colombia, Czech Republic, Egypt, Ethiopia, France, Germany, Ghana, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Norway, Poland, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine, and Vietnam. We are proud to now have approximately 100 international students call Foxcroft Academy home each year.

Our ever-expanding curriculum offers something for everyone and helps students discover their true passion. As an IB World School (2018), our Foxcroft Academy Course Guide now includes all the challenges a student wants and deserves! 24 accredited Advanced Placement and IB courses (including online partnerships), 19 STEM-related courses, 27 electives in the Humanities, 25 Visual and Performing Arts course, 15 in-house offerings in Technical Education, four World Language tracks, and a robust ESL program. As an Apple Distinguished School since 2014, we are committed to technological advances in the realm of education. 

Our 125-acre campus features two large, state-of-the-art dormitories and is located in a safe, wholesome setting. Surrounded by pristine lakes, mountains, rivers, and woods, we offer a safe and nourishing learning environment with an abundance of amazing outdoor activities readily available year-round.

Foxcroft Academy has some of the finest playing fields in the state and a proud athletic tradition, including a brand-new Ice Hockey arena (Fall 2019). Our 23 varsity teams are currently enjoying an unprecedented run of success, capturing 11 state championships in the past 12 years.

Foxcroft Academy is accredited by the New England Association of Secondary Schools and Colleges and is approved by the Department of Education and Cultural Services of the State of Maine. Foxcroft Academy holds membership in the College Board, The Independent Schools Association of Northern New England, and the Maine Association of Independent Schools.
