Mrs. Vandy E. Hewett, Head of School at Foxcroft Academy, announces Harold Neal Hicks, son of Harold and Tammie Hicks, of Dover-Foxcroft, as the recipient of the 2010 Outward Bound Leadership Award.  This award, one of 24 given annually in the United States, and bestowed by an anonymous donor, provides the course tuition and application fee for an Outward Bound Wilderness course up to 14 days long.  This is the ninth year that Foxcroft Academy has presented this award to a student in the junior class based on an application essay, leadership abilities, and a commitment to community service.  Neal is an active participant in many activities at Foxcroft Academy including cross country, indoor and outdoor track, Student Council and National Honor Society.  He has volunteered many hours as a Peer Mediator and Technology Assistant.
