Over 230 orchestra, band and choral students from high schools in Maine gathered at Foxcroft Academy on January 30 for the District V Music Festival.

The students had been individually selected  based on their music proficiency.  On Friday, January 29 they got together for the first time to rehearse throughout the day.  On Saturday, January 30 all of the students showcased their abilities to parents and the community in a concert held in the Academy's gymnasium/auditorium to a standing-room only crowd.
