Foxcroft Academy is one of the oldest private day and boarding schools in America. As such it carries with it the historic traditions of a New England college preparatory school. Its campus is located on 120 acres of fields, forest, and red brick buildings, nestled along the Piscataquis River and not far from Mt Katahdin, Moosehead Lake, Baxter State Park, and Acadia National Park. Our beautiful New England village setting of Dover-Foxcroft ensures a safe and nurturing learning experience.

The Academy offers a challenging college-preparatory curriculum, with 141 course offerings including 32 Honors Courses and 21 Advanced Placement courses, including 13 online courses. 

Students enjoy a caring and engaging faculty who challenge, support and motivate both inside and outside the classroom. Academic support for students include a strong advisor system, peer tutoring, academic support periods, and one on one conference periods with teachers.
